Special sessions, held in parallel with the general conference, are an integral part of the conference. They provide researchers in focused areas the opportunity to meet and present their work, and offer a forum for interaction among the broader community world-wide. Special-session proposals should be submitted by the prospective organizer(s) who will commit to promoting and handling the review process of their special session as Chairs or Co-Chairs of the event. A special session will include at least 5 papers. Topics of interest are in all areas of Software and Information Engineering and similar to main conference topics. Papers submitted to special sessions will have to be evaluated and peer-reviewed along the very same criteria of the regular sessions. Accepted papers will be submitted for inclusion to conference proceedings as well as various Abstracting and Indexing databases.
In that case we offer a 400USD discount in the registration fee to one special session chair. Special session that fails to attract enough papers will be merged into the general conference or suitable alternative session.
